COVID-19 Paycheck Protection Program in Greater New Orleans

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocated additional funds to help small businesses maintain their payroll, cover certain expenses, and hire back employees that had been laid off amid the pandemic and economic downturn. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the initiative provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to small businesses. Importantly, these loans may be forgiven if borrowers maintain their payrolls during the crisis or restore their payrolls afterward.

The Small Business Administration and U.S. Treasury Department will open the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan Portal on January 11, 2021 for new borrowers and certain existing PPP borrowers.

At OnPath FCU we are here to guide you with the resources necessary for you to apply for this loan. Please pay close attention to the guidelines established by the Small Business Administration (SBA) in order to qualify for this loan.
