Membership is available to individuals who live, work, worship, attend school, or frequently do business in certain Louisiana parishes, have a family member connected to OnPath, work for a partner business, or by making a small donation to the OnPath Foundation.
Do I have to open an account at a branch?
No. OnPath offers the ability to open accounts online, making it easy to apply and manage your account digitally without visiting a branch. Mobile and online banking tools are also included for ongoing account access and management.
What if I don’t meet the qualifications?
If you don’t initially qualify through residency, employment, or family eligibility, you can still become eligible for membership by making a $5 donation to the OnPath Foundation.

Yes. Deposits at OnPath are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). In addition, qualifying accounts may receive additional private insurance coverage through Excess Share Insurance Corporation for balances above standard federal limits.

To qualify, members must make 15 debit card purchases, sign in to online or mobile banking at least once during the statement cycle, and be enrolled in and receive e-statements.
